The Brooklyn location is a project by [Selldorf Architects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/selldorf-architects) as the interior design adds some contrast, but makes it optimal for Orior to showcase their style in a residential setting. Each duplex is made up of three spacious bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. This is followed by two living spaces: one that flows into a private terrace. The brand director of Orior, Jordan Trinci-Lyne speaks about the project, “Both of our teams share a deep appreciation for creating spaces that merge high-end design with effortless livability. For this penthouse, our vision was to design a home that exudes sophistication while maintaining an inviting and timeless warmth.” Image Credit: Selldorf Architects ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.9/10 - Popularity: 55% | Activity: 17% | Freshness: 45% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Cultural Design Fusion:** The merging of Irish-inspired elements with modern architecture showcases a trend of cultural design fusion, perfect for those seeking unique and personalized living environments. - **Luxury Living Spaces:** Luxury living spaces with expansive terraces and opulent interiors highlight a growing desire for high-end, spacious urban dwellings that provide both comfort and premium design. - **Effortless Livability:** Interior designs that blend sophistication with practicality are on the rise, indicative of a broader shift toward aesthetic functionality without compromising on elegance. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Interior Design:** The focus on combining high-end aesthetics with functional livability in residential spaces provides an innovative edge in the interior design industry. - **Real Estate Development:** Real estate development is seeing a new wave of demand for properties that offer luxurious yet livable environments, blending cultural influences with modern architecture. - **Luxury Home Furnishings:** There is a burgeoning market for luxury home furnishings that integrate cultural design elements, providing homeowners with opportunities to display distinct personal styles. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Striking Wood Furniture Silhouettes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/irish-furniture-design.md) - [Sophisticated Art Deco-Inspired Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/2025-furniture-collection.md) - [Cylindrical Furnished Penthouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/one-park-drive.md) - [Timber-Cladded Brick Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vavasour-house.md) - [Cross Cultural Duplexes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clinton-hill-duplex.md) - [Low-Rise Residential Developments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/residences-at-sanford-lodge.md) - [Elegant Artful Townhouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brooklyn-townhouse.md) - [Curated Modern Cohesive Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/144-vanderbilt.md) - [Compact Infill Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gr-works.md)
