This is an enhanced wooden picnic table with a [circular BBQ integrated into its center](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-teppanyaki), accessible to everyone who sits on the built-in benches. Edward J. Frame's design makes use of a gas heating mechanism that can be installed within a large hole in the middle of the eating surface. Several layers to the contraption include an insulating ring, controls, a hotplate and a grill tray, completing the convenient cooktop. The Omega Outdoor Cooking Table encourages communal food preparation for an extended social experience. When it's no longer the season for backyard dinners, the piece can be [folded flat for storage](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-titanium-grill). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.5/10 - Popularity: 67% | Activity: 59% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Communal Cooking:** The Omega Outdoor Cooking Table encourages communal food preparation for an extended social experience. - **Integrated Furniture:** The Omega Outdoor Cooking Table is an enhanced wooden picnic table with a circular BBQ integrated into its center, accessible to everyone who sits on the built-in benches. - **Multi-functional Outdoor Furniture:** Edward J.
