YouTuber TimTimFed has created a silly video with Olympic speed skating footage from the Sochi games, which wrapped up two days ago, mixed in with special affects and sounds from the [Mario Kart video games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mario-kart-world). Speed skaters blow each other up, distract opponents with bananas and otherwise avoid 'traps' set on the ice. This is all done while two sports commentators narrate the whole situation in a calm and detached manner.

His Olympic speed skating video is a humorous jab at sports and and blends in a fun and familiar video game franchise for a great pop culture twist. The silly imagery and noises and the nonchalant nature of the announcers watching all of the strange events unfold make it even more entertaining.
