This Olympic medal design has been created by Jaekyu Jung of Weekend-works.com as a conceptual rendering of what the medals for the [2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/speedmaster-milano-cortina-2026) could look like. The medals are designed with a textured finish that is mountainous in nature to call to mind the Northern Italy landscape, which includes the Dolormites mountain chains. Each of the medals are extruded and cut as a blank disc before being CNC machined with the various details across the rim, while the [hammered finish](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tiffany-co4) is done by artisans to ensure the utmost attention to detail.

The Olympic medal design is rounded out with a ribbon crafted with ocean-bound plastic to enhance the conscious nature of the awards.
