Once he discovers what he's missing, he'll be thankful for Quirky's pledge to turn Steffani Adaska's clever concept into a reality. Two of the major tasks involved with preparing meat on your [outdoor charcoal stove](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-charcoal-grill) include flipping your fish and then cleaning the grates. Incredibly, this invention makes both of these jobs much easier by supplying a healthy glaze of cooking oil in an unexpected way. The silicone head of the Olio Barbecue Brush can be detached from its maple wood handle and filled with the [edible oil of your choice](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/squeezable-cooking-oils). A simple depression of the handy rubber button on this BBQ utensil dispenses the liquid slowly and evenly down its bristles. Your steaks will come off cleaner and complete with those delectable [grill marks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grill-x). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.9/10 - Popularity: 14% | Activity: 4% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) > [Inventions](https://www.trendhunter.com/inventions) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Smart Grill Brushes:** Innovative grill brushes that use technology and design to make grilling easier, faster and more efficient. - **Edible Lubrication:** Creative methods of applying oils, sauces and rubs to meats in grilling, such as using filling brushes and sprays. - **Multi-functional BBQ Accessories:** New grill accessories that can perform multiple functions, like the Olio Barbecue Brush that can both glaze meat and clean grates ### Who This Affects Most - **Outdoor Cooking Industry:** Opportunities to develop improved barbecue tools and accessories that enhance the grilling experience for consumers. - **Food Packaging Industry:** Opportunities to create more convenient packaging for oils and sauces designed for use in outdoor cooking. - **Design Industry:** Opportunities to create innovative and user-friendly designs for outdoor cooking tools and accessories. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Flavor-Infused Grill Wipes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grill-and-pan-wipes.md) - [BBQ-Flavored Cooking Oils](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ume-spice-shots-kansas-city-style-bbq.md) - [Pro-Grade Griller Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grill-tools.md) - [Compact Fan-Equipped BBQs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/barbecue-nx-smart-grill.md) - [One-Handed Olive Oil Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dress-drizz.md) - [Smartphone-Connected Outdoor Grills](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wood-pellet-barbecue-grill.md) - [Squeezable Olive Oil Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/squeezable-olive-oil.md) - [Sprayable Liquid Oil Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oil-sprayer.md) - [Olive-Oil-Themed Keyboard Collabs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yahoo-x-graza.md)
