The light hangs and provides an illuminating glow, while simultaneously creating a blockade so that peers sitting across from one another have a bit more personal space. The Workspace Divider Lamp is a stylish two-in-one office accessory that can be suspended above a workspace for a [clutter-free design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/engrid-desk-lamp). The light is thin and drapes downwards in front of the employee's face to create a floating barrier. The design offers privacy while the lamp is covered in [speciality felt](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pixels-1) that helps to reduce travelling noise. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.5/10 - Popularity: 50% | Activity: 18% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Office Privacy Lights:** The trend towards open concept offices presents an opportunity for lighting solutions that enhance privacy and reduce distractions. - **Two-in-one Office Accessories:** The Workspace Divider Lamp represents a trend towards multi-functional workspace accessories that enhance productivity. - **Speciality Materials in Office Design:** Materials like felt can be used in innovative ways to improve workplace design and functionality. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Office Lighting:** The Workspace Divider Lamp offers an opportunity for innovative lighting solutions in open concept offices. - **Office Furniture:** Multi-functional workspace accessories like the Workspace Divider Lamp represent an opportunity for innovation in furniture design. - **Office Soundproofing:** The use of speciality materials like felt in the Workspace Divider Lamp presents an opportunity for innovation in office soundproofing materials. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Design-Conscious Office Dividers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/calm-collection.md) - [Quirky Solo Office Pods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/work-capsules.md) - [Outlet-Equipped Workstation Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/avro-pendant-lamp.md) - [Acoustic Workstation Hoods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/canopy-desk.md) - [Storage-Friendly Task Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/storage-lamp.md) - [Productivity and Wellness Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/team-home.md) - [Mobile Professional Workstation Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mobile-desk-divider.md) - [Space-Saving Desk Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spacesaving-desk-lamp.md) - [Work-Enhancing Partitioning Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/partitioning-system.md)
