Making sure those living in the space felt a separation between home life and work life via plywood panels, this geometric, Warsaw-based office home apartment is divided up into lounge space and work space. The designers created this [mixed-function haven](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kokuyo) in a [heritage building](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/warsaw-apartment-renovation) for a company manager who wanted the freedom of having access to both at all times; glass doors are the gateway from the meeting room into the private spaces of the apartment. "Considering the extreme flexibility expected from the office part, its space was designed to be as manageable as possible," say Kurkowski and Sutuła. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.4/10 - Popularity: 73% | Activity: 82% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Geometric Mixed-function Spaces:** Creating versatile spaces that seamlessly combine different functions, such as work and living areas, provides opportunities for innovative office-home designs. - **Flexible Workspace Design:** Designing workspaces with extreme flexibility in mind can cater to the changing needs of professionals, enabling productive and comfortable work environments. - **Incorporating Privacy Elements:** Introducing privacy-enhancing features, like plywood panels and glass doors, allows for the seamless separation of work and personal life in office-home apartment designs. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Interior Design:** The interior design industry can tap into the growing demand for office-home concepts, offering innovative solutions for creating functional and visually appealing spaces. - **Real Estate:** The real estate industry can explore the potential of mixed-function spaces to attract professionals seeking adaptable work and living environments. - **Furniture and Fixtures:** Furniture and fixtures manufacturers have opportunities to develop modular and multifunctional designs that cater to the needs of office-home apartment dwellers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Remote Work-Catering Modern Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/studio-plow.md) - [Reinvented Office Spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mislad.md) - [Soothing Live-Work Units](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/livework-unit.md) - [Curved Translucent Experimental Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptors-apartment.md) - [Multifunctional Small Studio Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/studio-mescla.md) - [Geometric Colorful Residential Spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/graphic-house.md) - [Box-Like Innovative Apartment Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/innovative-apartment-design.md) - [Playful-Focused Polish Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/znamy-si.md) - [Studio-Workshop Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/banda-agency-kyiv.md)
