This bottle has [two water filters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/water-filter-tumbler), a flashlight, a lantern and a storage compartment. The Odyssey water bottle has a Level 1 filter which is like a household [Brita](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/compostable-water-filters) carbon filter designed to remove chlorine taste and odor from tap water. The Level 2 filter is literally a next-level filter that can rid the water of bacteria and other contaminants. Despite its high-tech function, the Level 2 filter is designed for travel and can clean water in more than 140 countries around the world where water may not always be clean or reliable. The bottle also has an included flashlight which, when pointed inwards, turns into a lantern that uses the bottle's curves as a shade to provide diffused area light. The light includes a strobe function which could be use to attract attention in emergency situations. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.2/10 - Popularity: 82% | Activity: 67% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Multifunctional Water Bottles:** There is a growing trend in water bottles that offer additional features such as filters and lighting. - **Travel-friendly Water Filters:** Innovations in water filters are making it easier for travelers to access clean water in areas with unreliable water sources. - **Emergency Preparedness Gear:** Water bottles with built-in lighting and storage compartments are a part of a broader trend in emergency preparedness gear. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Outdoor and Adventure Gear:** The OKO Odyssey water bottle is an example of a product that could disrupt the outdoor and adventure gear industry. - **Water Filtration Industry:** The OKO Odyssey water bottle's advanced water filtration system could disrupt the water filtration industry. - **Emergency Preparedness Industry:** The multifunctional features of the OKO Odyssey water bottle make it a potential disruptive product in the emergency preparedness industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Precision Hydration Vessels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/okapa.md) - [Five-in-One Water Filter Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vitaloop-water-filtration-bottle.md) - [Customized Smart Water Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ocean-bottles.md) - [Bacteria-Killing Water Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/uvc-selfcleaning-water-bottle.md) - [Sleek Elevated Flat-Shaped Flasks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/watr.md) - [Dual Filtration Tumblers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/water-filter-tumbler.md) - [Adaptable Water Purification Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/adaptable-water-purification-system.md) - [Self-Cleaning Water Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/halo-smart-water-bottle.md) - [Intelligent Hydration Vessels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/waterh-smart-water-bottle.md)
