The lamp highlights a [wooden build](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arc-lamp) that boasts a simple base with a curved piece the holds the LED unit at your choice of level. This provides just the right kind of lighting, while also prioritizing [continuous adjustment](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ovo-lamp) rather than having the user deal with static functionality. The 'Odina' table lamp has a simple switch for activation and has an exposed, vibrantly colored wire that leads out of the LED unit. This highlights rather than hides the essential components, which is something of a modern approach and combats against old-school design thoughts that would often try to conceal wires. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.0/10 - Popularity: 91% | Activity: 75% | Freshness: 13% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Modernized Antique-style Decor:** Designing modern home decor pieces with an antique aesthetic creates a unique and timeless look for consumers. - **Hybrid Furniture:** Combining modern design with vintage elements creates multifunctional pieces that appeal to a wider audience. - **Exposed Components:** Modern design can incorporate functionality by highlighting essential components of a product, rather than concealing them. ### Where This Applies - **Interior Design:** Incorporating modernized antique-style decor pieces into a design project creates a unique and timeless look for clients. - **Furniture:** Innovative hybrid furniture that balances both modern and vintage design elements can appeal to a wider audience and increase sales. - **Lighting:** Creating lighting products that prioritize continuous adjustment and highlight essential components can attract consumers looking for both functionality and design. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Streetlamp-Inspired Workstation Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/herman-miller-ode-desk-lamp.md) - [Minimalist Tech Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/delite-20.md) - [Hanging Lantern-Like Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/woodo-table-lamp.md) - [Simplistic Angular Desktop Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/linear-table-lamp.md) - [Demure Designer Desk Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/designer-desk-lamp.md) - [Sculptural Desk Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/leda.md) - [Hollow Candle-Like Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lampe.md) - [Elegant Compact Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-table-light.md) - [Bamboo-Inspired Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-desk-lamp.md)
