Other works includes the [Rug Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/a-week-at-the-knees), which is one of my favourites. Muram’s current work showcases “unexpected human connections and empathy through the development and documentation of [curious and peculiar scenarios](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alastair-philip-wiper).” In his photographs, he creates [pieces of art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ladder-series) that involves the themes of oddity, daydreams, and absurdity. I think those photos are really weird, in a cool kind of way, which is precisely what I think Muram was trying to create. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.0/10 - Popularity: 65% | Activity: 17% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Life](https://www.trendhunter.com/life) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Conceptual Photography:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the field of photography by exploring unconventional and thought-provoking concepts. - **Emotional Storytelling:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the creative industry by capturing and conveying unique human connections and empathy through visual storytelling. - **Absurdist Art:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the art world by embracing unconventional and surreal concepts to challenge traditional artistic norms. ### Who This Affects Most - **Photography:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the photography industry by pushing boundaries and exploring new artistic directions. - **Creative Arts:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the creative arts industry by incorporating unconventional storytelling techniques and exploring non-traditional themes. - **Fine Art:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the field of fine art by challenging conventional aesthetics and exploring the boundaries of artistic expression. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Painting-Immersive Photo Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-ground-exhibition.md) - [Distorted Furniture Street Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/first-kiss-at-last-light.md) - [Photograph-Centric Museums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/photography-seoul-museum-of-art.md) - [Statement Street Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surreal-street-art-1.md) - [Bubblegum Street Art Buildings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hubbabubbabuilding.md) - [Modern Ruin-Inspired Californian Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/romick-house.md) - [Surreal Love-Themed Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/joakim-ojanen.md) - [Immersive Hotel Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hotel-art-installation.md) - [Human Embraced-Inspired Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wallmounted-sculpture.md)
