The architects designed two three-bedroom and one four-bedroom villa, situated on a plot of land that was raised by 1.8 meters to ensure not only privacy, but a spectacular seafront view that is uncommon for residential projects in the area. The elevated plot also helps to prevent land erosion. The semi-detached structures maximize for space, allowing the [surrounding landscape](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/villa-prakriti-biophilic) to act as a buffer, protecting the occupants from the noise of the busy areas. The villas also boast an [open-concept kitchen, dining and living area](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/patio-house-residence), a patio that allows for natural ventilation within the home and master bedrooms that look out towards infinity pool. Each bathroom is quipped with a private garden and jacuzzi, optimizing for natural light and ventilation. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.6/10 - Popularity: 73% | Activity: 27% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [World](https://www.trendhunter.com/world) > [Travel](https://www.trendhunter.com/travel) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Coastal Vacation Rentals:** Businesses can disrupt the traditional hospitality industry by creating unique, elevated coastal vacation rentals that offer privacy and spectacular views. - **Sustainable Architecture:** Opportunities exist for architects and builders to focus on sustainable architecture, like the Oceanique Villas, that not only offer luxury but also help prevent land erosion. - **Open-concept Living Spaces:** Architects and interior designers have the opportunity to create more open-concept living spaces for residential buildings inspired by the Oceanique Villas that provide natural lighting and ventilation. ### Where This Applies - **Hospitality:** The hospitality industry has an opportunity to create a new segment of vacation rentals that offer unique and elevated experiences for travelers seeking privacy and coastal views. - **Architecture and Design:** Architects and interior designers can focus on sustainable, open-concept designs that offer luxury, functionality and efficient use of space. - **Real Estate:** Real estate developers can create unique, luxury homes that focus on sustainable architecture, open-concept living spaces, and appealing coastal views. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Minimal Ocean-Overlooking Villas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/achiot-villas.md) - [Beach-Overlooking Picturesque Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/villa-a.md) - [Cliffside Minimalist Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aip-azia-villa.md) - [Coastal Terraced Villas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/villa-bo.md) - [Modern Vietnamese Dwellings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tien-giang-house.md) - [Luxurious Contemporary Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tropical-living.md) - [Green Garden-Surrounding Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hillside-house-1.md) - [Lush Garden Holiday Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/de-hue-space.md) - [Panoramic Terraced Villas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/villa-95.md)
