# Obama Street Art Innovative Ways to Show Political Support With A Spray Can By Cowbag | Published 2009-01-27 | Social Good Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/obama-street-art-showing-polical-support-with-a-spray-can These are some brilliant, topical pieces of street art, examples of artists taking to the streets to show their support for politics and world leaders. The large-scale [Warhol President Lincoln](http://obamarama.org/wp-content/uploads/2007/04/jesus-obama-statue.jpg) example is truly fabulous. Some of this Obama street art was clearly created before the election, such as the [stencil example](http://www.klintron.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2008/06/obama2.jpg), but I don’t think that matters. Support is support. Street art will remain for as long as it ‘survives.' I love the way these street artists managed to inject some humour into their pieces - the Pharoah and Superman Obama are total cases in point!
