The accessory features a wooden construction that's coated using an eco wax oil to give it just the right level of sheen, while not blogging the pores of the material. The accessory can be paired with a stainless steel insert to enhance its durability against daily use. The Oakywood Wooden Cubic Pot functions first and foremost as a pen holder, but can also keep small plants within to integrate a touch of greenery onto desktops. The accessory responds to the ever-increasing amount of time many professionals are spending at their workstation in the home or office and the desire to brighten it up with style-conscious items. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.0/10 - Popularity: 95% | Activity: 71% | Freshness: 13% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Multifunctional Workstation Accessories:** The rise of work-from-home necessitates multifunctional accessories that maximize aesthetics without compromising professional needs. - **Desktop Greenery:** The inclusion of small plants on desks is gaining popularity, presenting an opportunity for eco-friendly and aesthetically pleasing office accessories. - **Wooden Desk Accessories:** The popularity of wooden desk accessories continues to grow, offering a sustainable and stylish alternative to plastic and metal counterparts. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Office Supplies:** Office supply companies can innovate their product lines to include eco-friendly, stylish, and multifunctional accessories for desk use. - **Home Decor:** Home decor companies can expand their product offerings to include small desk plants and complementary wooden accessories to capitalize on the work-from-home trend. - **Sustainability:** The demand for sustainable office and home products presents an opportunity for companies to create eco-friendly alternatives to traditional office accessories. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Wooden Magnetic Desktop Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oakywood-oakyblocks-magnetic-modules.md) - [Eco-Friendly Hardwood Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hardwood-accessories.md) - [Carved Timber Workstation Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/organization-kit.md) - [Multifunctional Plant Pots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/face-plant-planter.md) - [Vertical Workstation Wall Planters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ceramic-wall-planter.md) - [Modern Wooden Desk Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ofiistory-desk-supplies.md) - [Desktop Pen Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pareto-pot.md) - [Sustainable Premium Wooden Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oakywood.md) - [Off-Kilter Desktop Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/concept-pen-holder.md)
