It is a light fixture with an atypical silhouette that brings a [sculptural touch](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ovo-lamp) to its surroundings. Although only made out of [wood](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wood-collection-1), which would limit it to certain styles and tastes, the design is much more versatile than many would first think. Designed by Obe & Co, the Oak Spotty Lamp comes in two versions: floor and table. It also boasts a generous length of [vintage fabric cable](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blue-green-works) that comes in a choice of colors including black and red. Handmade, the Oak Spotty Lamp can be used in the United Kingdom, European or United States locations thanks to a choice of plugs as well. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.6/10 - Popularity: 48% | Activity: 83% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Sculptural Lighting Fixtures:** There is an opportunity for designers to create unique lighting fixtures that offer both practicality and a decorative element. - **Versatile Wood Designs:** There is an opportunity for designers to create wooden products that are versatile in style and appeal to a wider audience. - **Vintage-inspired Cables:** There may be an opportunity to incorporate vintage-inspired cables in product designs to add a touch of nostalgia and personality. ### Who This Affects Most - **Home Decor:** There is an opportunity for home decor companies to create unique lighting fixtures that add a sculptural and artistic touch to a space. - **Furniture Design:** Furniture designers can expand their product offerings to include versatile wood designs that can appeal to a wider audience and fit a variety of interior styles. - **Lighting Design:** Lighting designers can experiment with incorporating vintage-inspired cables in their product designs to add a touch of nostalgia and personality for their customers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Design-Focused Wooden Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-soul.md) - [Wooden Sustainable Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/woodo.md) - [Hanging Lantern-Like Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/woodo-table-lamp.md) - [Twisting Timber Lampshade Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/twisted-lasercut-wooden-lampshade.md) - [Sculpted Wooden Desktop Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sleepy-wood-desk-lamp.md) - [Serene Wooden Dynamic Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sleepy-wood.md) - [Bamboo Forest-Inspired Floor Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lightbone.md) - [Timber Wood Handmade Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/onu-series.md) - [Wooden Warm Light Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modernism-lighting.md)
