Mexican designer Luis Luna has a unique and clever concept of the eco-friendly computer which he has named the O Project.

The O Project is a sustainable computer inspired by oxygen and photosynthesis. The CPU is circular, not boxy, and [grows a plant inside](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/izestee). The CPU is built with [biodegradable skin](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aquafade) that is comprised of polymers from cornstarch and bamboo.

Although the small plant can’t absorb all of the carbon dioxide in its surroundings, its existence serves as a reminder of the importance of thinking green, especially as it pertains to technology. The project is part of a [Dell](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/concept-luna) design contest for green computers.
