Part of the Souvenir of the Last Century series, this luxurious food preparation furnishing is complete with the scars of its past lives. Chips in the [magnificent marble](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/terra-frammenti) and scratches on the steel I-beams suggest what functions these components might have had previously. Today, the gorgeous stone has been turned into an elegant and continuous surface that marries the hot stovetop with the [cool sink basin](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kitchen-sink-system). This heavy piece has been installed on top of the rationally composed metal structure.
