For those who can't accommodate a traditional workstation in the home, this is a great solution. In fact, even those who can may want to switch over to this unobtrusive creation. Essentially, NUBO by Ligne Roset folds up against the wall when not in use. In the process, it reveals a cushioned pin board that transforms its underbelly into a useful place for pictures, notes and more. Inside is a simple shelf that can continue to hold items when not open. Once it is open, the desk space is large enough for a laptop, notebooks and more. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.6/10 - Popularity: 87% | Activity: 72% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Wall-mounted Desks:** Opportunity to disrupt the home office furniture industry with space-saving solutions like NUBO by Ligne Roset. - **Foldable Furniture:** Growing demand for versatile and adaptable furniture pieces creates opportunities for designs like NUBO by Ligne Roset. - **Multifunctional Design:** Designers can create innovative furniture with multiple functions like NUBO by Ligne Roset to cater to small-space living needs. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Furniture:** NUBO by Ligne Roset reveals an opportunity for the furniture industry to generate space-saving solutions for small-space living. - **Home Office:** NUBO by Ligne Roset offers a new way to design furniture for home offices that accommodates small spaces. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can incorporate space-saving solutions like NUBO by Ligne Roset in small apartments and homes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sleek Minimal Wall Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ab019-wall-desk.md) - [Minimally Refined Wall Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wall-desk-1.md) - [Vertical Home Office Units](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-leandesk.md) - [Space-Saving Foldable Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foldable-desk1.md) - [Sculptural Wall Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-wall-desk.md) - [Practical Rotating Wall Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/revolver-wallmounted-desk.md) - [Modular Fold-Out Desk Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foldable-wooden-workstation.md) - [Fold-Away Sleek Workstations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flip-desk.md) - [Foldable Wall-Mounted Shelves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wall-mounted-folding-desk.md)
