TinyPocketPeople lets consumers personalize a 8" (14 cm) doll based on customers uploaded picture. Just like in Alice in Wonderland, now it's possible to shrink yourself or a loved one to [pocket size](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polly-pocket-x-gcds). A company based in Sweden, Tiny Pocket People, creates [tiny soft body dolls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bedhedz) based on customers uploaded pictures. Everything from shoe color to clothes can be customized. And at only 8 in. (14cm) long, these dolls are so small that they easily fit into your pocket. The founder of Tiny Pocket People, David Miranda, created his very first doll for his 5 year old daughter so that she could have a "mini" mom and dad with her at daycare. He soon realized that these tiny personalized dolls could fill the need of having a loved one always with you. And with that thought Tiny Pocket People was born. So next time instead of carrying a photograph of a loved one, you can have him or her peeking out of your pocket. http://www.tinypocketpeople.com ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.7/10 - Popularity: 96% | Activity: 67% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) > [Inventions](https://www.trendhunter.com/inventions) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Personalized Miniature Dolls:** The trend of creating miniature dolls that resemble customers based on uploaded pictures presents disruptive innovation opportunities in the personalized gift industry. - **Customizable Clothing and Accessories:** The trend of allowing customers to customize everything from shoe color to clothes for their miniature dolls presents disruptive innovation opportunities in the fashion and accessories industry. - **Portable Personal Memories:** The trend of having miniature dolls that fit into your pocket, carrying loved ones and memories everywhere, presents disruptive innovation opportunities in the keepsake and memento industry. ### Where This Applies - **Personalized Gifts:** The personalized miniature doll trend presents disruptive innovation opportunities in the personalized gifts industry. - **Fashion and Accessories:** The customizable clothing and accessories trend for miniature dolls presents disruptive innovation opportunities in the fashion and accessories industry. - **Keepsake and Memento:** The trend of portable personal memories with miniature dolls presents disruptive innovation opportunities in the keepsake and memento industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Miniature Animated Custom Figurines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pop-yourself.md) - [Personalized Christmas Decor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/little-me-ornaments.md) - [Miniaturized Doll Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mini-barbieland.md) - [Miniaturized Doll Carriers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/doll-carrier.md) - [Miniature Baking Collectibles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mini-food.md) - [Miniature Baby Collectibles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/miniverse-make-it-mini-real-baby.md) - [Selfie-Based Action Figures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/formlabs.md) - [Recordable Stuffed Animals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dubido-factory.md) - [Personalized Pet Photo Gifts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/personalized-pet-photo.md)
