The 'Bird Perch Bookshelf and Stand' by Notus Designs is a colorful display of hollow birdhouses that function as shelves. It's a fun way to store cell phones, wallets, keys or whatever you desire. Taller items such as an umbrella can be stored through a hole in the roof of the top house. This stand will make your home colorful, while providing additional shelf space. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.3/10 - Popularity: 32% | Activity: 29% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Colorful Storage Solutions:** Opportunity for companies to create unique and visually appealing storage options using vibrant colors and creative designs. - **Functional Home Decor:** Innovation possibilities lie in the development of home decor items that serve a practical purpose, such as the Bird Perch Bookshelf and Stand. - **Transformative Furniture:** Companies can explore the concept of furniture that can be easily converted or repurposed for storage, like the birdhouses turned shelves in the Bird Perch Storage. ### Who This Affects Most - **Home Furnishings:** The home furnishings industry can capitalize on the demand for unique and functional storage solutions for consumers. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can incorporate colorful and multifunctional pieces, such as the Bird Perch Bookshelf and Stand, into their designs. - **Home Improvement:** The home improvement industry can provide homeowners with innovative storage options, like the transformable furniture seen in the Bird Perch Storage design. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Living Storage Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/treevive.md) - [Book-Storing Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bookgroove-bookrack.md) - [Interactive Observation Wooden Birdhouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/domik-ptashki.md) - [Dynamic Storage-Display Shelves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shelf-life.md) - [Discreet Folding Shelf Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folding-shelf.md) - [Tech-Charging Book Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/haaase-liesma-bookshelf.md) - [Birdhouse-Integrated Address Signs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/our-common-house.md) - [L-Shaped Stacked Shelving](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loft-shelf.md) - [Abstract Jigsaw-Like Shelving](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spectator-shelf.md)
