# Noodle Candles Strange Designs by Kwangho Lee By Cowbag | Published 2008-08-02 | Lifestyle Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/noodle-candle-some-very-strange-looking-candle-to-enlighten-your-life References: [designzen.wordpress](http://designzen.wordpress.com/2008/07/29/noodle-candle/) I do love this '[noodle' candle design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/candl-stacks) by Kwangho Lee, but looking at it, I can't figure out if it would be very easy to make, or very hard. Either way, I do like it, although I am not totally into the brown colour. Of course Lee's candle is just one of many [strange-looking candles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/black-jar-candle) that have been featured on this site. I am not sure where I stand on this whole issue as it is a bit like being stuck between a rock and a hard place. For example, I had a rubber duck candle for ages in the bathroom. I burnt it, and now I have a yellow blob that looks nothing like a rubber duck, and just leaks wax everywhere. If you love a candle enough never to burn it, then why buy it? But again, if you are not that bothered about burning a candle, then was it worth splashing all that cash on a very complicated [designer one](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/michle-lamy)? The 'let it rock' candle being a perfect example. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.2/10 - Popularity: 4% | Activity: 25% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Unconventional Candle Designs:** Opportunity for innovative approaches to candle-making with unique shapes and colors. - **Sustainable Candle Production:** An opportunity to produce eco-friendly candles made from natural, recyclable materials. - **Smart Candles:** Innovative technology such as AI and IoT can be incorporated into candles for unique features and functionality. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Decor Industry:** Opportunity for designers and manufacturers to create unique, eye-catching candles that blend with their surroundings. - **Eco-friendly Industry:** Opportunity to create candles that minimize waste and harm to the environment. - **Electronics Industry:** Candle industry can collaborate with the electronics industry to bring smart candles to the market with unique features like connected lighting. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Realistic Food Candles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pantlers-rations.md) - [Unusual Limited-Edition Candles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-bloom-candle.md) - [Architecturally Inspired Candles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sfumato-candle.md) - [Striking Sculptural Candles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculpture-candle.md) - [Food-Inspired Novelty Candles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-of-savage.md) - [Beeswax Sculptural Candles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/greentree.md) - [Exquisite Time Lapse Candles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xl-porcelain-candles.md) - [Luxurious Sculptural Candle Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-candle-holders.md) - [Luxe Candle-Melting Lamp](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/infra-luna-20.md)
