The $172 million ark was built by the creationist [Christian](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grand-hotel-timeo) ministry 'Answers in Genesis.' It is 155 metres long, 25 metres wide, and 15 metres high -- measurements derived straight from the bible. Australian evangelist Ken Ham is the man who founded the project. To get to the ark itself, patrons have to buy tickets at a booth before being shuttled on buses for about mile until they reach the area of Noah's ark. According to Ken Ham this means "leaving the modern world and coming up into Noah's world." On the ship are 132 ark bays that are filled with exhibits of Noah, the story of creation (according to Answers in Genesis) and will answer questions on how Noah cared for the animals. The ship will have a large amount of sculptured animals on display plus a [petting zoo](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/congo-falls). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.8/10 - Popularity: 82% | Activity: 83% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [World](https://www.trendhunter.com/world) > [Travel](https://www.trendhunter.com/travel) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Theme Park Innovation:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create theme parks that are centered around historical and religious stories, providing an immersive and educational experience for visitors. - **Faith-based Tourism:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop tourism destinations and attractions that cater specifically to religious and spiritual beliefs, creating a unique and meaningful experience for travelers. - **Biblical-inspired Architecture:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Introduce architectural designs and constructions that are inspired by religious texts, allowing individuals to physically experience and connect with sacred stories. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Tourism:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Revolutionize the tourism industry by creating unique, faith-based destinations that attract visitors from all over the world. - **Entertainment:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Reinvent the entertainment industry by creating theme parks and attractions that offer immersive experiences based on historical and religious stories. - **Architecture:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Transform the architecture industry by designing and constructing buildings that are inspired by ancient texts, bringing religious stories to life. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Animal-Shaped Luxury Beanbags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ark-collection.md) - [Botanical Visitor Pavilions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/green-ark-pavilion.md) - [Miniature Insulated Home Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ark-tiny-homes.md) - [Puzzle-Inspired Italian Nurseries](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/noahs-ark-nursery.md) - [Biblical Tale-Inspired Home Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paire-house.md) - [Architecture-Inspired Building Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arckit-100-sqm.md) - [Screen-Free 3D Building Puzzles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/3d-building-puzzle.md) - [Challenge-Park Adventures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beast-land-theme-park.md) - [Immersive Holographic Zoos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hologram-zoo.md)
