The design by Quirky allows you to [make ice](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crescentshaped-ice) with ease. The non-traditional vertical shape ensures that there’s no water spillage when making these cool cubes. The [stand-up tray](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smartpanel-nugget-ice-maker) is easy to use; all you have to do is fill water to the marked line and then put the divider in place. Once you’ve allowed enough time for freezing, just tap the bottom of the tray to unfasten the cubes from the divider. All the ice will come out effortlessly with the pulling handle and allow you to plunk in as many cubes as you please. Each tray makes 14 cubes at a time. This item is a great party helper and will allow you to serve guests without getting your hands wet. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.6/10 - Popularity: 36% | Activity: 63% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Kitchen](https://www.trendhunter.com/kitchen) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Vertical Ice Tray:** The Cube Tube by Quirky introduces a vertical ice tray design for easy ice making without water spillage. - **Fuss-free Ice Making:** The Cube Tube by Quirky provides a hassle-free ice making process with its stand-up tray and effortless cube removal. - **Efficient Ice Serving:** The Cube Tube by Quirky allows for convenient ice serving with its pulling handle and the ability to make 14 cubes at a time. ### Who This Affects Most - **Kitchenware:** The Cube Tube by Quirky introduces a disruptive innovation opportunity for the kitchenware industry with its unique vertical ice tray design. - **Party Supplies:** The Cube Tube by Quirky presents a disruptive innovation opportunity for the party supplies industry by providing a fuss-free and hygienic solution for serving guests. - **Appliances:** The Cube Tube by Quirky offers a disruptive innovation opportunity for the appliances industry with its efficient and user-friendly ice making and serving features. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Cooling Beer Cubes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beercubes1.md) - [Efficient At-Home Ice Makers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/athome-ice-maker.md) - [Stylish Ice Molds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cocktail-ice-sets.md) - [Cuttting-Edge Sphere Ice Makers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sphere-ice-makers.md) - [At-Home Mixologist Ice Makers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sphere-ice-maker.md) - [Countertop Cocktail Ice Makers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/klaris-ice-maker.md) - [Eco-Friendly Ice Straw Molds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ice-straw.md) - [Portable Frozen Treat Makers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frozen-treat1.md) - [Modern Mixologist Ice Makers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/juniper-clear-ice-maker.md)
