# Laptop-Integrated Desks Designer Nithin V Antony's C-Walker Fuses a PC Computer into a Desk By M | Published 2014-05-23 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nithin-v-antony References: [yankodesign](http://www.yankodesign.com/2014/05/22/table-that-is-a-pc/) & [behance.net](https://www.behance.net/nvadesigns) Designer Nithin V Antony found an interesting way to fuse together two major office components, a desk and a computer, into one fully-functional furniture piece. The C-Walker is an office desk that stylishly features a PC computer integrated inside the table's surface. While most people use a desk primarily to house a laptop or desktop computer, purchasing both can be an expensive ordeal. The C-Walker conveniently solves this issue by seamlessly combining a PC computer into the desk's overall design for a [clutter-free look](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/corsair-platform4-desk). The C-Walker includes all the necessary computer wires already fixed inside the desk along with a projected monitor and a super high-tech [virtual keyboard](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/1999-keyboard-pc). This way, the desk remains clear of any unnecessary computer accessory clutter. All users have to do is plug in the desk and start typing. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.3/10 - Popularity: 76% | Activity: 76% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Laptop-integrated Desks:** A new way to integrate IT equipment into furnishings that can decrease clutter and reduce office costs. - **Furniture-computer Integration:** Incorporating computing into everyday furniture to help minimize the number of physical components used in an office. - **Virtual Tools:** The employment of virtual computing tools in desk optimizations that provide measurable benefits to office workers. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Furniture:** A new way to improve the way furniture is designed and delivered to reduce clutter and save space. - **Technology:** New technological advancements in everyday items and services, such as office desks, that benefit businesses. - **Office Supplies:** Innovations in office supplies such as desks and chairs that can enhance the quality of work and increase productivity. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [All-in-One Laptop Workstations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/logitech-casa-popup-desk.md) - [Minimalist Modular Desk Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/console-desk.md) - [Internal PC Case Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pc-case-desk.md) - [Ultra-Organized Work Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/desk-for-students.md) - [Sleekly Conceptualized All-in-One PCs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ws1-workstation.md) - [Hybrid Schedule Workstation Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/humanex-x3.md) - [Computer-Housing Office Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lian-li-dk07.md) - [In-Desk Gaming PCs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/unevn.md) - [Ergonomic Multi-Use Desk Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kabinett-desk.md)
