Gellenberg harnessed all of his creativity in addition to a spectacular level of attention to detail to forge the portraits, skillfully using color and smartly positioning and angling Nike swooshes to make surprisingly accurate reproductions of the athletes' faces. This portrait is only the latest in a series of sports-centered illustrations created by Gellenberg.
