The [Nike](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nike-air-max-day-1) [Air Max 1](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flamelike-caging-design) was debuted in 1987. A quarter-century later, the shoe has been seen in many different designs and still holds mass popularity. If anything, they are now a sub-culture and seen on fashionable feet world wide.

Illustrator Björn von Schulz paid tribute to the shoe by rounding up his favourite Air Max shoes of all-time and illustrating them on a plain-white canvas. The minimal poster displays fifty Air Max 1s, but there has definitely been many more on the market over the past 25 years. Björn's subjective picks are a cross-selection of colors. He includes everything from a plain, all-gray [Air Maxs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tiempo-sneaker) to neon-yellow ones.

The collection of air-pocketed shoes also have the year of make underneath each shoe. The kickin' poster is now available on [Egotrips](http://store.egotrips.de/product/poster-need-more).
