Powered by USB, the Balloon Lamp can be connected to a computer to be used or plugged into an adapter for use in a wall socket. The knot on the balloon acts as the lamp's switch that can be pressed to turn it on and off as well as to freeze the operation of the [color-changing lamp](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-bulb). The night light lamp features an [internal LED light system](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tangent-lamp) that cycles through a wide array of different shades to help make the lamp more fun and entertaining. The Balloon Lamp features a sturdy metal stand that keeps the balloon assembly supported, while the latter end turns into a cord for power needs. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.9/10 - Popularity: 64% | Activity: 14% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Whimsical Night Light Lamps:** Night light lamps that feature playful and charming designs. - **Usb-powered Lamps:** Lamps that are powered by USB connections, allowing for more convenient use. - **Color-changing Lamps:** Lamps that feature continuous cycles of different shades, making them more fun and engaging. ### Who This Affects Most - **Home Decor:** Manufacturers and designers can create new versions of night light lamps that will appeal to modern consumers. - **Children's Products:** Kids and parents can enjoy creative and playful night light lamps that promote visually appealing designs. - **Consumer Electronics:** USB-powered night light lamps can be developed as new forms of residential lighting or as desk accessories for computer users. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Quirky Common Item Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/table-lamp-lighter.md) - [Inflatable Mood Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blow-lamp.md) - [Dreamlike Bubble-Shaped Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/airshape-lamp.md) - [Color-Matching Night Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/angelcare-magical-dreams-lumicolor-bear.md) - [Floating Magnetic Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-mnuca-floating-lamp.md) - [Balloon-Like Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/soft-blown.md) - [Adorable Cartoon Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lightweight-and-adorable.md) - [Soothing Speaker-Equipped Night Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lullaby-talk.md) - [Inflatable Colorful Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/squeeze-inflatable-lamp.md)
