But the Caped Crusader isn’t the only hero walking up walls in this series, as Hyde depicts a myriad of superheroes and villains ascending sides of skyscrapers. Included are Catwoman, Wolverine, Sabretooth, Spiderman and Doctor Octopus. Each Nicholas Hyde poster is made using vector graphics and comes in grayscale. City silhouettes are visible in all illustrations and are illuminated by moonlight. Each hero is also depicted in the shadows, though outlines of their dynamic poses and imaginative costumes can be easily seen. Nicholas Hyde currently sells prints of these posters on his [Etsy](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tarotandreading) store. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.3/10 - Popularity: 48% | Activity: 73% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Retro-inspired Superhero Art:** Opportunity for artists to create retro-inspired superhero illustrations that evoke nostalgia. - **Vector Graphics in Poster Design:** Potential for designers to incorporate vector graphics in poster designs for a sleek, modern look. - **Shadow and Light Illustrations:** Possibility for artists to explore the use of shadow and light in illustrations to create dramatic effects. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art and Design:** Artists and designers can leverage the trend of retro-inspired superhero art to create unique and nostalgic pieces. - **Printing and Framing:** Printing and framing companies can tap into the demand for posters featuring vector graphics and shadow and light illustrations. - **Online Marketplaces:** E-commerce platforms like Etsy can benefit from the sale of prints of retro-inspired superhero posters. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Film-Inspired Graphic Apparel](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-dark-knight-collection.md) - [Villain-Themed Shoe Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kith-for-asics.md) - [Retro Space-Themed Puzzled Posters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/john-carter.md) - [Superhero-Themed DIY Art Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jim-lee-batman.md) - [Superhero-Themed Headphone Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/3dprinted-headphone-stands.md) - [3D Superhero Block-Puzzle Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/amazing-spiderman-set.md) - [Comic Book Hero Collectibles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/comic-book-heros.md) - [Superhero-Inspired Wristwatches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/deadpool-and-wolverine-1.md) - [Comic-Inspired Soda Cans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-heroes.md)
