Focusing on [starry night skies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/evening-sky), he travels to wherever he can gain the most optimal views. From the vibrant colors of the aura borealis to intricate constellations and everything in between, Nicholas Buer provides people with sights that few will ever see in person. Of course, it takes a lot of determination and patience to capture these moments. Nicholas Buer reveals, "Since [advancements in DSLR technology](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moon-walker-multi-cam) I have been able to capture the night sky in a way I previously thought impossible and ever since my first successful [capture of the milky way](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dwarf-mini), I have been hooked." ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.9/10 - Popularity: 60% | Activity: 50% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Fashion](https://www.trendhunter.com/fashion) > [Photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/stylephotography) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Astrophotography:** Creating innovative equipment and tools for amateur and professional astrophotographers to get the best result. - **Virtual Sky Tours:** Technology-enabled virtual sky tours to provide unique traveling experiences for people all over the world. - **Dark Sky Tourism:** Developing tourism in areas with the least amount of light pollution to provide stargazing experiences for adventurous travelers. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Camera and Photography:** Making specialized equipment, tools, or software for capturing astrophotography and low-light photography. - **Tourism and Hospitality:** Creating new travel packages and experiences for astrophotography enthusiasts and stargazers. - **Artificial Intelligence:** Developing AI software to identify and classify celestial objects in astrophotography photos. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Smart Astrophotography Telescopes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/seestar-s30.md) - [Celestial Photography Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-identification-camera.md) - [Festive Light Painting Techniques](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/light-painting-1.md) - [Star-Finding Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stellarscope-1.md) - [Immersive Space Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beyond-the-light.md) - [Nightsky-Observing Clear-Top Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sky-view-tent.md) - [Crystal-Clear Smart Telescopes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-telescopes.md) - [Astronaut Night Light Projectors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/night-light-projectors.md) - [Consumer-Grade Connective Telescopes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/equinox-2.md)
