# Laundry Bag Barstools Nexus Stool by Elementodiseno Cushions Your Bottom with Clothes By Amelia Roblin | Published 2011-07-06 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nexus-stool-by-elementodiseno References: [ohgizmo](http://www.ohgizmo.com/2011/07/06/nexus-stool-another-use-for-dirty-laundry/) & [elementodiseno.cl](http://elementodiseno.cl/productos/dual/nexo/) Even when a [laundry hamper](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/steele-canvas) is available, dirty clothes seem to pile up wherever they're unwanted. As an alternative to unsightly heaps, a strategically placed Nexus Stool by Elementodiseno could be the answer to controlling clutter. Quite simply and peculiarly, the piece comprises a [drawstring canvas sack](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wu-series), fasted to a [small three-legged seat](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/loki-stool). The whimsical design of the garment-stuffed cushion embodies a rather amusing concept, and for that, it should be celebrated. In terms of practicality, however, I can see that the quirky Nexus Stool by Elementodiseno may quickly become counterproductive if a tidy life is something you aspire to maintain. **Implications** - Although objects such as this fulfill no imperative purpose, consumers enjoy the novelty of eccentric items that offer their living spaces distinctive individuality. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.2/10 - Popularity: 24% | Activity: 4% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Eccentric Home Decor:** Creating unique and quirky home decor items that add individuality to living spaces. - **Functional Novelty Furniture:** Designing furniture pieces with unconventional features that serve both practical and novelty purposes. - **Clutter Control Solutions:** Inventing innovative products that help organize and reduce clutter in living spaces. ### Where This Applies - **Home Decor:** Manufacturing and selling decorative items for homes and living spaces. - **Furniture Design:** Creating and producing innovative furniture designs with unique features. - **Organization and Storage:** Developing products and solutions to help people organize and declutter their living spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Entryway Deodorizing Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/comodo.md) - [Demure Dual-Compartment Laundry Hampers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/joseph-joseph-tota.md) - [Colorful Dual-Purpose Stool Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/s1-stool.md) - [Stackable Cork-Like Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drum-stool-1.md) - [Functional Flat-Packed Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/walle-stool.md) - [Creative Laundry Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rewear-chair.md) - [Cross Leg-Supported Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/euljiro.md) - [Intuitive Entryway Seats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-front-stool.md) - [Fan-Shaped Stackable Stool Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stool-concept.md)
