The new service will be available across the US for all Walgreens customers and will only cost $4.99 per drop off. Some Walgreens locations will also offer same-day delivery, as well as next-day prescription drug deliveries. To take advantage of Walgreen's next-day prescription drug deliveries, customers will have to be enrolled in text alerts from the drugstore. Because of this integration with Walgreen's text alerts, customers will receive messages when their prescriptions become available. The service will also allow customers to have medication delivered directly to their doorstep, as opposed to picking things up from a mailbox or in-store.
