Unlike most entertainment systems that encourage passive content consumption and keep people stationary for extended periods of time, Nex Playground positively impacts physical activity and engagement. This active entertainment system was designed to get people of all ages moving at home and it does so with a suite of games that are manipulated by the motion of a player's whole body. As such, no controllers are needed to experience Nex's games and experiences.

Some of the activity-boosting experiences and games built by Nex include classics like whack-a-mole, as well as music rhythm games like Starri or Go Keeper, which challenges players to assume the position of goalie and stop fireball strikes.

Nex Playground earned a Special Mention on TIME's list of the Best Inventions of 2023.
