To celebrate innovation keynote speaker Jeremy Gutsche's New York Times business bestseller Better and Faster: The Proven Path to Unstoppable Ideas, the Trend Hunter team took to their social media accounts for an exhilarating in-office photo contest. The rules were simple and the prizes out of this world, including a dinner or a night out with Better and Faster picking up your evening's tab. All we had to do was post our most creative picture incorporating the book's cover and the hashtags #BetterAndFaster and #NewYorkTimesBestseller.
As the entries poured in, it became clear that the Trend Hunter teamed pulled from various areas of inspiration to add their own flair to their Better and Faster photo. Director of Content and Culture Jaime Neely aligned her passion for running to the book's entrepreneurial themes whereas Senior Researcher Meghan opted for a more classic, clean and minimalist literary focus showing off the books pages. In the end, Laura and Meghan's orgami stop motion video, Andrew's Thug Life meme parody, Vasiliki's monochromatic retro accent to highlight the book cover's rich red color scheme and Jana's parody of Napoleon with a nod to Better and Faster as a business revolution all took home first place.
