The new X-Men movie will be roaring into theaters this year, and the new trailer has fans excited. The movie will use time travel, a theme that has been explored in X-Men, but never truly expanded upon. With a massive cast of famous characters from the comic, the film promises to deliver on the massive hype it has built up.

The X-Men series holds the prestige of being one of the first [comic book movies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/marvels-85th-anniversary) to really make an impact at the box office and culture as a whole. Since the original movie, there have been several iterations, but the main storyline ended at the third…that is until now.

This movie promises action, surprises and plenty of eye-widening mutant abilities, essentially what the first three had, but ramped up times ten. The movie promises to deliver what fans have been waiting for May 23rd.
