As such, the all-new Liger Shake boasts a base of both the Ultimate Chocolate Shake and the Orange Cream Shake with swirling dark stripes that are created with [Ghirardelli](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reeses-pieces-cookie-dough-milkshake) Chocolate Sauce throughout. As Arby's describes, the result is a "blend of colors that is bursting with rich, sweet flavors." Recently, Arby's launched an entire [collection of shakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/premium-shake) that include Ghirardelli chocolate as a main ingredient. While those classic shakes specifically appeal to chocolate lovers with a sweet tooth, this unique one has an aesthetically interesting look that will make it tempting to share on social media for its look alone. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.3/10 - Popularity: 16% | Activity: 15% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Drinking](https://www.trendhunter.com/drinking) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Animal-inspired Shakes:** The trend of creating shakes inspired by animals like the liger offers an opportunity for fast-food chains to create unique and visually appealing drinks that will pique the interest of customers. - **Gourmet Milkshakes:** The rise in popularity of gourmet milkshakes, made with high-quality ingredients like Ghirardelli chocolate, indicates a potential market for premium and artisanal milkshakes in the fast-food and dessert industries. - **Social Media-ready Shakes:** The popularity of visually-appealing shakes that are designed to be shared on social media is an opportunity for brands to leverage user-generated content and increase online engagement with their customers. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Fast Food:** Fast food chains can capitalize on the trend of animal-inspired shakes by integrating unique flavors and visually-appealing designs into their menus to attract customers and increase sales. - **Desserts:** The trend towards gourmet milkshakes made with premium ingredients presents an opportunity for the dessert industry to innovate and create high-quality milkshakes that cater to more discerning and adventurous tastes. - **Food and Beverage Marketing:** The trend of social media-ready shakes offers a chance for marketing and advertising companies to leverage the power of social media by creating campaigns that encourage customers to share their experiences about shakes and other food products on social media platforms. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Raspberry-Flavored QSR Shakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arbys-raspberry-shake.md) - [Blended Seasonal QSR Shakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/caramel-cinnamon-shake.md) - [Cafe-Inspired Milkshakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shake-shack-shakes.md) - [Lemonade-Flavored QSR Shakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lemonade-shake.md) - [Limited-Edition New Year Milkshakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-shake-shack-shakes.md) - [Festive Blended Milkshakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/festive-blended-milkshake.md) - [Exclusive Flavorful Soda Shakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dr-pepper-blackberry-shake.md) - [Limited-Time Caffeinated Milkshakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brown-sugar-latte-milkshake.md) - [Movie-Inspired Blackberry Shakes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vibranium-shake.md)
