The book consists of a series of beautifully shot, realistic, raw photos about the life of a small group of new-ages nomads. McKell has been documenting the life of these new gypsies for a decade. They travel on antiquated caravans carried by horses, use solar panels and are surprisingly young. These neo-nomads represent an eco-friendly, hassle-free lifestyle that is in sharp contrast with the daily urban living of metropolitan North America. As the photographer puts it, "The New Gypsies do not share a common ethnological origin, a spirituality, or political stand.
