The vehicle is powered by a twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 engine capable of pumping out more than 600 horsepower. This engine uses dual fuel-injection and is hooked up to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. It is ultra lightweight thanks to the use of carbon fiber composite construction which makes for a car that is lightweight yet hardy. The new Ford GT's display is also ultra-futuristic, and includes a stalkless steering column that gives drivers easy and uncluttered access to the paddle-shift controls.
