The New Era ‘[MLB](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/siegelman-stable-x-new-york) Rivalry’ ad campaign features two of television’s biggest stars in a verbal sparring match over their favorite sports teams. Alec Baldwin of 30 rock defends the [Yankees](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/born-x-raised-1) and The Office’s John Krasinski backs the [Red Sox](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ghostwrite-x-mlb-game-face).

The first ad in the New Era ‘MLB Rivalry’ series was pitch perfect, featuring the two actors bickering over the phone about sports' most contentious rivalry. This one takes it a step further. Following what he thinks is a Yankees loss, Baldwin rushes over to Krasinksi’s house and punches him in the face…only to find out that the Yankees didn’t lose.

I won’t ruin the rest of the commercial for you, but it is an absolute must-watch. Both men display the kind of comedic timing you can only learn working on a sitcom and the ad really conveys the genuine acrimony that exists between Yankees and Red Sox fans.
