# Modified Beam Gaming Guns The NES Real Laser Gun Brings the Gamer World to Reality By Trenton Millar | Published 2012-09-24 | Tech Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nes-real-laser-gun References: [obviouswinner](http://www.obviouswinner.com/obvwin/2012/9/23/so-awesome-nes-zapper-modded-into-a-real-burning-laser-gun.html) & [northstreetlabs.org](http://www.northstreetlabs.org/Zapper.html) The talented engineers at North Street Labs have created a NES Real Laser Gun. No longer must you use a toy gun to shoot only at virtual ducks -- now you can shoot at anything, and this gun will do some real damage. The NES Real Laser Gun was created from the classic NES gun that is used to play Duck Hunt. Filled with real photon blasting power, the gun can set matches on fire in a matter of seconds. I didn't even know that laser guns existed like this! The 2W+ blue laser definitely does the job though. Make sure you tell your little brother not to play with the NES Real Laser Gun. You would not want him to blind you accidentally while he is playing cops and robbers. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.9/10 - Popularity: 3% | Activity: 46% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Modified Beam Gaming Guns:** A trend of modifying gaming guns to enhance the gaming experience and create real-life effects. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Gaming Industry:** The gaming industry can capitalize on this trend by developing and marketing modified gaming guns to appeal to hardcore gamers who seek a more immersive experience. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Gel Pellet Toy Guns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hasbro-1.md) - [Creator-Backed Toy Guns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mrbeast.md) - [4-in-1 Gel Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/unlocx-gel-blaster.md) - [Gel-Equipped Toy Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pro-gelfire-mythic.md) - [Sci-Fi Foam Dart Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ee3-blaster.md) - [Sci-Fi Film-Themed Dart Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/starfleet-phaser-blaster.md) - [Realistic Weaponry Game Controllers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vir-controller.md) - [Adult-Targeted Foam Disc Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/disc-blaster.md) - [Projector-Equipped Handheld Gaming Consoles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nintendo-game-boy-concept.md)
