Once sold, a portion of the NES Console Table funds will be donated to the Children's Hospital Foundation. Selling for $799, the NES Console Table is expertly crafted to absolute perfection and is an exact replica of the gaming console that skyrocketed to fame back in the eighties. The subsequent precision makes the NES Console Table look, at first glance in photos, like a photo of the actual console. Rieger, who's an avid fan of the retro video game, said his interest in donating funds to the Foundation upon selling of the NES Console Table was sparked by a local family who lost their son a few years prior. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.8/10 - Popularity: 66% | Activity: 69% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/games) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Charitable Furniture:** The trend of creating furniture items that benefit a charitable cause by donating a portion of the sales proceeds. - **Nostalgic Replicas:** The trend of creating exact replicas of iconic gaming consoles and other nostalgic items as furniture pieces. - **Patriotic Gaming:** The trend of gaming enthusiasts using their passion to support and raise funds for causes and organizations. ### Where This Applies - **Furniture:** The furniture industry can explore the opportunity of creating more charitable pieces that appeal to nostalgia, benefiting causes or organizations. - **Gaming:** The gaming industry can explore partnerships with furniture designers to create licensed replicas of iconic gaming consoles for fans and collectors. - **Charitable Organizations:** Charitable organizations can tap into the trend of gaming enthusiasts and furniture designers creating products that benefit worthy causes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Video Game-Inspired Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pac-man-side-table.md) - [Bright Edition Consoles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/analogue-3.md) - [Nostalgic 90s-Inspired Gaming Consoles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/analogue-3d-funtastic.md) - [Nostalgic Gaming Console Radios](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nintendo-radio.md) - [Tiny Retro Gamer Consoles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/open-source-games-console.md) - [Modernized 90s Gaming Consoles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/analogue-3d-console.md) - [Arcade-Style Console Docks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mini-arcade-pro.md) - [See-Through Cartridge Gaming Consoles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modretro-m64.md) - [Organized Gaming Storage Cabinets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bauhutte.md)
