The system works by allowing a dozen packs to be filled at once to alleviate individual filling, which will expedite setup for water balloon fights. The pods will break immediately upon impact, but won't explode to make cleanup dramatically easier by eliminating the occurrence of plastic pieces being scattered. NERF Better Than Balloons come with nine pod sheets per pack to provide 108 projectiles to play with. The pods come in a variety of colors including pink, orange and blue to give water balloon fights a chromatic touch while also being great for team-based battles. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.4/10 - Popularity: 55% | Activity: 56% | Freshness: 20% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/toys) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Convenient Water Toys:** NERF Better Than Balloons offer a convenient alternative to traditional water balloons, simplifying setup and cleanup. - **Efficient Water Balloon Filling:** The system allows for the quick filling of multiple water balloons at once, saving time and effort. - **Eco-friendly Water Balloon Solution:** The self-sealing pods of NERF Better Than Balloons reduce plastic waste and make cleanup easier. ### Where This Applies - **Recreational Products:** The convenient and efficient design of NERF Better Than Balloons can be applied to other recreational water toys. - **Party Supplies:** The self-sealing pods could be incorporated into other water balloon products for parties and events. - **Environmental Solutions:** The eco-friendly design of NERF Better Than Balloons could inspire innovation in sustainable packaging and waste reduction in other industries. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Reusable Water Fight Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reusable-water-balloon.md) - [Magnetic Reusable Water Balloons](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reusable-water-balloons.md) - [Gel-Equipped Toy Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pro-gelfire-mythic.md) - [Gel Pellet Toy Guns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hasbro-1.md) - [Compact Gel Capsule Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nerf-pro-gelfire-legion-blaster.md) - [Power-Free Water Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spyralx.md) - [Triple-Mode Powered Water Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spyrathree.md) - [Creator-Backed Toy Guns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mrbeast.md) - [Prehistoric Foam Dart Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nerf-dinosquad-armorstrike-blaster.md)
