The baby phone, the **[Neo 808i](http://www.stuffbyneo.com)**, comes in real brushed aluminum casing in pink with silver accents and black with touches of red and features a keypad that almost resembles precious gem stones. The camera phone features MP3 and MP4 players, has tri-band GSM/GPRS, audio and visual recorder, FM radio, 128 MB Micro SD Card (which can be expanded to 4 GB) and of course all the fun trinkets like games, an image editor, health feature and currency and weight/length converters. It's been such a success, the Dubai company is already working on four [future innovations](http://www.stuffbyneo.com/future.asp) which should be released by the end of 2008. Some concepts in the works include the Neo-Ellipse and the Neo-Flip. "The next in line will be the Ellipse which is due to launch in June 2008,"[Neo says](http://www.stuffbyneo.com/future.asp). "This we believe is no longer a phone but more of a sculpture. And that is how we will make sure it remains by the time we are done with fitting it with every single feature a phone should have. With its high gloss finish and hidden screen + camera and its Chrome finish elevated spine, it will hardly look like a phone when sitting on your desk. The phone will feature WiFi, Bluetooth, Quad band, and much more." ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.2/10 - Popularity: 45% | Activity: 12% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Mobile](https://www.trendhunter.com/mobile) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Mini Mobile Phones:** There is a growing trend in the development of smaller, more compact mobile phones that still offer functional capabilities. - **Luxury Mobile Phone Design:** The use of premium materials, unique aesthetics, and intricate details in mobile phone design is becoming a popular trend. - **Expansion of Mobile Phone Features:** The integration of diverse features, such as MP3/MP4 players, audio and visual recorders, health features, and converters, is an emerging trend in mobile phone development. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Consumer Electronics:** The consumer electronics industry stands to benefit from the demand for smaller, more stylish mobile phones with expanded functionalities. - **Luxury Goods:** Luxury goods companies can explore opportunities to create high-end mobile phones with luxurious materials to cater to the growing demand for premium mobile phone designs. - **Mobile Phone Manufacturing:** Mobile phone manufacturers have the opportunity to innovate and incorporate diverse features into their products, offering enhanced experiences to consumers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Mini Transparent Smartphone Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nothing-mini-phone.md) - [Micro-Sized Alt Smartphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nothing-phone-2a-micro.md) - [Mini-Sized Alternative Smartphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cmf-phone-mini.md) - [Retro-Chic Nostalgic Flip Phones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/barbie-phone.md) - [Compact Jelly Smartphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jelly-star.md) - [Card-Sized AI Phones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mindone-smartphone.md) - [Nostalgic Flip Phone Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nokia-n90.md) - [Innovative Compact Smartphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/compact-smartphone.md) - [Multifunctional Handheld Gaming Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/unihertz-jelly-star.md)
