It is heavily inspired by the elements of nature and rests on a [long lakeside lot](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lakeside-living) that has a sloped base. At a glance, the home looks like a series of small pavilions that follow the [natural contours of the hill](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-cloud-house). The home keeps the walls that traverse the diagonal shape of the incline. At the exterior design, it is clad with dark charred cypress which is purposefully chosen to have a cohesive blend with the trees that surround the home, enhancing the unification of its [nature inspiration](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/villa-prakriti-biophilic). It is home to a retired couple with an extended family, enjoying private and public spaces for gatherings.
