The rugged, high-tech [SUV](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/subaru-solterra) is meant to be a rescue vehicle, meaning that it can foray into tough terrains to provide charges for dead electronics equipment or mobile devices. Any responsible adventurer knows the need for things like satellite phones and other electronic safety equipment, but when those devices run out of charge, it can leave people in a dangerous situation. The Nissan Navara EnGuard can bring a charge anywhere, helping people stranded in the wild. The SUV's portable battery pack automatically charges through the car's diesel engine, meaning that as long as the Navara EnGuard has gas it will be able to provide charges. On top of a battery pack, the SUV comes with a drone for sending still images and video to rescue crews. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.5/10 - Popularity: 98% | Activity: 88% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Autos](https://www.trendhunter.com/autos) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Rugged Rescue Vehicles:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in developing rugged vehicles with built-in portable battery packs for emergency charging. - **Portable Battery Packs:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in creating portable battery packs that automatically charge through a vehicle's engine. - **Drone Integration in Rescue Vehicles:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in incorporating drones into rescue vehicles for real-time visual assistance during emergency situations. ### Who This Affects Most - **Automotive Industry:** Rapidly evolving automotive industry can capitalize on the trend of rugged rescue vehicles to provide innovative solutions for emergency situations. - **Electronics Industry:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the electronics industry to develop efficient and portable battery packs for emergency charging in various scenarios. - **Aerospace Industry:** Aerospace industry can explore the trend of drone integration in rescue vehicles to enhance emergency response strategies and capabilities. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sculpted Digital Conceptual Vehicles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hyper-adventure.md) - [Advanced Old-Fashioned Camper Vans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nissan-caravan-mountain-base.md) - [Persona-Specific EVs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nissan-futures.md) - [Arctic Edition Electric Vehicles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nissan-ariya-pole-expedition-ev.md) - [Disaster-Prepared Electric Vans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hw-electro.md) - [Wood-Paneled Electric Vehicles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/2023-nissan-ariya-surfwagon-concept.md) - [Nostalgic Explorer SUVs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nissan-xtrail-concepts.md) - [Vehicle-Powering Battery Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oukitel-abearl-p5000.md) - [Off-Grid Exploration Vans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gac-van-life-autonomous-vehicle.md)
