Trend Hunter has featured various forms of [taxidermy as art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fibredog), but these pieces are, in my opinion, among the best. They come from American artists Elizabeth McGrath, whose entire portfolio has a haunted and eerie feel.

They could not be more up my street. I have featured pieces from the *Incurable Disorder* gallery for this post. I love the old, [nautical look](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sea-containers), with antlers being used to hoist sails, bodies of animals used like cruise liners and deer inked with [navy-style tattoos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/Tattoo-Inspired-Land-Rover).
