Urban landscapes change rather significantly with every generation as populations rise and demands evolve; Natwerk Studio brings attention to some of the mistakes that go along with such change in a [playful and even silly manner](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/playful-sculptures). Known for their lighthearted approach to art and design, Natwerk Studio created a series of [miniature houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moonhouse-project) that were then installed between the crack of two buildings in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Natwerk Studio came up with the concept when they noted the number-gap from 54 to 70. Each miniature house represents a missing structure between the two buildings. As PSFK notes, the oversight is a "sociological reminder that [cities reinvent themselves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/affordable-housing-prototype) and often, mistakes are made." Natwerk Studio creatively fixed that mistake.
