One way that it does this is by having a [pull-down urinal](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bidet-toilet-seat1) for male urination that involves the same action as lifting and closing the toilet seat. According to Jose Genovés' design, the flue uses a mere half liter to wash it away. When a woman sits down to pee, the [toilet paper](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wype-gel) she uses will be flushed into a secondary chamber with half a liter as well. When someone finally empties his or her bowels into the bowl, between 4.5L and 6L of water are used up to make sure the pipes of the Natura Toilet are rinsed clean. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.5/10 - Popularity: 94% | Activity: 93% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Water-saving Toilets:** The Natura Toilet showcases a water-saving design that reduces water consumption by approximately 60%. - **Multi-function Fixtures:** The Natura Toilet is a urinal-toilet hybrid that can handle multiple types of relief, offering convenience and efficiency. - **Flush Innovation:** The Natura Toilet incorporates innovative flushing mechanisms that use as little as half a liter of water per flush. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Bathroom Fixtures:** The Natura Toilet introduces new features and functionality to the bathroom fixtures industry. - **Plumbing:** The Natura Toilet's unique design presents opportunities for innovation in the plumbing industry. - **Sustainable Design:** The Natura Toilet's water-saving features align with the growing demand for sustainable design practices in the architecture and construction industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Powerful Vortex Toilet Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/twistflush-toilet.md) - [Hygienic Auto-Flushing Toilets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/close-the-lid-toilet.md) - [Smart Toilet Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-toilets.md) - [Water-Free Telescoping Toilet Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clesana-x1.md) - [Sustainable Sand-Filled Toilets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sandi-toilet.md) - [Feature-Packed Smart Toilets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neolet.md) - [Water-Saving Bathroom Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bergvattnet.md) - [Futuristic Intelligent Toilets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/intelligent-toilet.md) - [Martian Toilet Prototypes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/martian-toilet.md)
