This home is a fitting tribute to one of the world's most anticipated and loved sporting events. The main desk in this establishment has a built-in crack right through its center, and there is a ladder, much like the road to Olympus, to show that human achievement knows no bounds. The entire home features a variety of [winding staircases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cobalt-coach-house) made with a smooth hardwood finish that meshes smoothly with the completely white walls. At first glance, the home looks much like something [Google](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-historical-research) would pronounce as its living abode with a simplistic design that awes patrons with its complex and detailed design. The National Olympic Committee House is an architectural phenomenon that will surely have the staircases of Hogwarts feeling a tad jealous. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.7/10 - Popularity: 31% | Activity: 12% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/architecture) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Modernistic Sports Architecture:** Architects and real estate developers can innovate by combining modern styles and practicality to sports facilities to create stunning landmarks. - **Innovative Staircase Design:** Interior designers and architects can disrupt the industry by experimenting with unique, winding staircase designs in homes, offices, and public buildings. - **Visual and Structural Contrast:** Designers can create striking visual contrast by pairing smoothly finished hardwood staircases with completely white walls in modern spaces. ### Where This Applies - **Sports Facilities:** Developers and architects can take cues from the National Olympic Committee House and construct sports facilities that are striking in their beauty and details, as well as functional. - **Real Estate Development:** Real estate developers can integrate winding staircases with smooth hardwood finishes into homes and commercial spaces as an innovative selling feature. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can create visual and structural contrasts by pairing smooth hardwood finishes with completely white walls, mimicking the National Olympic Committee House aesthetic. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Bold Architectural Renovations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flat-iron-house.md) - [Temporary Olympic Hospitality Venues](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-descente.md) - [Travel-Focused Attic Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/omarama.md) - [Evocative Mid-Century Stores](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nikos-koulis.md) - [Light-Filled Alpine Lofts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/omarama-attic.md) - [Mountainous Alpine Hotel Extensions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/olympic-spa-hotel.md) - [Remodelled Staircase-Centric Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cobalt-coach-house.md) - [Artful Updated 70s Apartment](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/art-curators-apartment.md) - [Architectural Sports Landmarks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xian-international-football.md)
