Architecture firm Arkpro Studio designed the Narac Church in Albania defined by its [curved concrete walls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/shire) that direct natural light towards the altar. It is located in the northern village of Narac -- this is notably the first dedicated religious building for the local community. The team saw this as a chance to create a a [new landmark for the village](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/studios-workac-and-ignacio-urquiza-architects).

The studio explained the process to Dezeen, noting "This project is a new village centre, a [Catholic temple](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lighthouse-church) that serves not only as a place of worship but also as a visible symbol for the surrounding villages, offering every resident a unique view and serving as a beacon of hope and unity. The choice of a curved, inclusive form was essential to emphasise unity and avoid sharp angles, creating a welcoming space for all."
