# All-Inclusive Comforters Sit in the 'n•a•p' Massaging Bed to Rest and Eliminate Stress By Matt Ho | Published 2011-08-29 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nap-massaging-bed References: [ohgizmo](http://www.ohgizmo.com/2011/08/25/n•a•p-massaging-bed-rest-just-go-sit-in-a-damn-chair/) & [brookstone](http://www.brookstone.com/nap-massaging-bed-rest?bkiid=SearchResults|CategoryProductList|606079p) After a hard day's work, it wouldn't be such a bad idea to have a seat in the 'n•a•p' Massaging Bed. Think of the n•a•p Massaging Bed as a low-key version of a couch or anything that [La-Z-Boy](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/do-not-disturb-decor) produces. All it has is the headrest and armrests and it's designed that way so that it sits on the bed. The armrests have several compartments that will hold notebooks, remote controls and cups. The headrest has an extending LED light so that people can read comfortably without having to get out of bed just to flick the light switch on. The [comforter also acts as a massager](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heating-pad-and-body-massager) for that extra touch of comfort. The n•a•p Massaging Bed will do a good job helping anyone relax after long hours at the office or for those who just want to be lazy after a busy week. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.4/10 - Popularity: 1% | Activity: 3% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Massaging Beds:** Innovative bed designs like n•a•p that provide relaxation and comfort through massaging features. - **Multipurpose Armrests:** Armrests that are designed with compartments for holding notebooks, remote controls and cups, providing convenience and comfort to users. - **Comforters with Massaging Features:** Innovative bedding designs that go beyond providing warmth and comfort with the added feature of massagers. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Furniture:** Furniture industry can create customizable beds that provide comfort and relaxation for users through massaging features, adjustable armrests and convenient light fixtures. - **Bedding:** Bedding industry can explore new designs incorporating massaging features in their comforters, pillows and blankets, providing an added level of comfort to users. - **Hospitality:** Hospitality industry can provide innovative solutions like n•a•p beds in hotel rooms, resorts and spas, enhancing customer experience and relaxation during their stay. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Comforting Adaptable Sofa Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/baby-bird-reincarnation-3way-sofa-bed.md) - [De-Stressing Wearable Massagers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/am1.md) - [Total-Body Massage Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/x77-massage-chair.md) - [Folding At-Home Massage Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/robotic-massage-chair.md) - [Nap-Inducing Lulling Robes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zzzn-sleep-apparel-system.md) - [Bed Conversion Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ensven-modular-bed-rocker.md) - [Posture Correcting Prone Cushions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/comfort-space.md) - [AI-Powered Mattress Toppers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rezet.md) - [AI-Powered Bedside Massage Robots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/massager-robot.md)
