The feature works by allowing the light system to replicate the colors that are being displayed on a computer monitor or even TV screen. This will create an [ambient lighting experience](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/philips-hue-play-wall-washer) that can further immerse users in their favorite [video games, movies, TV shows](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/govee-gaming-pixel-light) and more for a cinema-like environment. The Nanoleaf Screen Mirror feature will continuously track what's happening on the screen to expand it outward in different modes. This includes Match mode which will amplify the picture experience, while the Melt mode will help to subtly transition colors between the different sequences in the content. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.6/10 - Popularity: 8% | Activity: 30% | Freshness: 9% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Immersive Smart Lighting:** Using smart lighting to create a more immersive entertainment experience by replicating the colors on a computer or TV screen. - **Ambient Lighting:** Using ambient lighting to enhance the atmosphere while playing video games, watching movies, or TV shows. - **Screen-mirroring Technology:** Developing screen-mirroring technology that tracks the content on a screen and expands it outward in different modes. ### Who This Affects Most - **Smart Lighting:** Innovative smart lighting solutions that can mimic and enhance the visual experience of entertainment content. - **Video Games:** Creating a cinema-like environment for video game enthusiasts by incorporating immersive smart lighting into the gaming experience. - **Home Entertainment:** Integrating ambient lighting into home entertainment systems to elevate the viewing experience of movies and TV shows. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [TV-Connected LED Strips](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nanoleaf-3.md) - [Intelligent TV Backlight Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nanoleaf-4d.md) - [Holiday-Ready Lighting Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nanoleaf-5.md) - [Content-Synced TV Light Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/govee-tv-backlight-3-lite.md) - [DIY Entertainment Lighting Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/govee-immersion-kit.md) - [Sky-Light Replicating Lighting Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nanoleafs-sky-expansion-pack.md) - [Collaboration Computer Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nanoleaf-x-corsair-icue.md) - [Collaboration Sci-Fi Smart Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/govee-x-dune-tv-backlight-3-lite.md) - [Intelligent Illumination Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lifx-supercolor-mirror.md)
